Children enrolled in the Head Start program receive complete physicals as well as vision and hearing screenings. Heights and weights are also monitored. To encourage proper hygiene children brush their teeth twice each day. Staff also assists parents of children who do not have health insurance with obtaining Medicare or Peach. Children enrolled in the program are required to keep their immunizations up to date.
