General Job Description:
Under the direction of the Center Manager the Teacher I will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate classroom activities according to the requirements of the Head Start Performance Standards, Georgia Bright from the Start: Department of Early Care
and Learning (DECAL) Rules and Regulations, National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Tallatoona CAP, Inc. and develop a team approach to classroom teaching in collaboration with the Teacher II.

Requirements:

• Four year degree in Early Childhood Education
• Experience working with pre-school children in an educational setting.
• Be a positive role model for children and families.
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license, liability insurance and available transportation
